ITINERARY
This morning, arrive into Munich, your gateway to Austria. A short 2 hours drive will bring you to Innsbruck – capital of the Tyrol. The great Alpine outdoors, the grandeur of imperial architecture, the captivating realm of Swarovski, heart-pumping snow sports, and an unparalleled Renaissance charm — this is Innsbruck. Known as the best gateway to Austria’s rich Tyrolean culture, Innsbruck captures hearts without fail even with just a short stay. But this doesn’t mean you’ll have to stick to just three days — the longer you stay in Innsbruck, the more of it you can enjoy!
After checking into your hotel and freshening up, time to explore Innsbruck. Go for a scenic ride aboard the Nordkette cable cars, to get a true taste of the place. Ride the Nordkettenbahn – a funicular with stations that double as architectural masterpieces. 20 minutes ride on a cable car will get you to an elevation of 2000 meters. Take in awe inspiring scenery on the way up and admire the majestic mountain views when you reach the top.
Return to the old town or Alstadt, where you will see a striking structure made of 2657 fire-gilded copper tiles! It glints a brilliant gold when struck by the rays of the sun – hence naming it The Golden Roof! Spend some time on foot in the old town and then return to your hotel for some evening entertainment.
This evening, delight in some true Tyrolean dance and music at the Tyrolean Folklore show over a delicious local dinner.

You will have time to explore the natural site; follow a walking trail to climb higher above the Salzach Valley if you wish. Feel the ower of the falling water close up. Take a break at the hillside restaurant for a snack.
Thereafter, head towards Innsbruck. Enroute stop at Wattens to visit the dazzling world of Swarovski Crystals. Everyone knows Swarovski, the brand of crystals. But not a lot of people know that you can actually step into a museum, amusement park, and exhibition space that displays all things Swarovski! Some of its exhibitions are truly out of this world, so you’ll have to see Swarovski Crystal Worlds to believe it!

The first section, features imposing ice formations and is open to the public. Stepping through the imposing cave entrance, you enter a mysterious world of ice. Aside from its enormous dimensions, the cave impresses with its ice palaces of crystalline beauty. Monumental formations glisten to amazing effect in the light of the traditional mine lamps which are issued to visitors. Winding passageways and galleries with evocative names such "Diamond Realm" lead you deeper and deeper into the mountain, to unfurl its mysteries.
