ITINERARY
On arrival at Muscat, board your connecting flight to Salalah, truly a gem in the desert. Your private transfer awaits to drive you to your hotel. Check into your hotel and spend the remaining day enjoying the facilities of your hotel or listening to the soothing ripples of the waves.
Salalah is the capital city of southern Oman's Dhofar province. It's known for its banana plantations, Arabian Sea beaches and waters teeming with sea life. The Khareef, an annual monsoon, transforms the desert terrain into a lush, green landscape and creates seasonal waterfalls.
This evening, head to one of the local restaurants to taste traditional Omani cuisine. Dig into irresistible food and when you’re done with your meal drive 4.3 kms westward to the Public Park of Salalah. Enjoy a leisure walk or just sit in the park enjoying the pleasant weather or walk along the Al Hafa beach and spend some peaceful moments before you return to your hotel.
Overnight in Salalah
After breakfast, enjoy a full day tour of this tropical city which is lined by banana plantations, coconut trees, vegetable and fruit gardens all the way, that serve as a treat to the eyes of the beholders!
Salalah sightseeing commences with a visit to the fishing village of ‘Taqah’, which is renowned for its dried sardines and authentic Dhofari houses. After a halt at ‘Taqah Castle’, the former official residence of the ‘Wali’ or the Governor, you head to the city of Sumharam. The remnants of the city and its port Khor Rori, talk a lot about the ancient marine trade network, specifically Frankincense trade, that once turned the town a glorious one. Then proceed towards a stunning valley of Wadi Dirbat, and then to Qara Mountains as you set off to explore the western part of Salalah. After visiting the Prophet Job’s tomb located in the Green Mountains of Salalah plains, you would move towards Mughsail to cover the white sand beaches. You end the day by a scenic drive back to the hotel.
Overnight in Salalah
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Muscat. An hour and a half later, you will be left awestruck by the low-rise buildings as you drive through the well-planned streets of this largest city in Oman. The beautiful capital city encompasses some of the world’s ancient heritages and attractions, that transport you to another world. You have free time to stroll through the streets of Muscat and breathe in some fresh sea air during your city tour.
Your first stop would be the Grand Mosque, a famous mosque in town. The trip to the vibrant mosque is followed by a photo stop at the Al Alam palace & Jalai & Mirani Tower. Visit the Bait Al Zubair museum, where you can catch a glimpse of a wide display of Omani craftsmanship. Next stop is the Mutrah souq, a market which will delight your senses with its eye-grabbing artefacts, spices and other goodies that will surely lure you into purchasing a thing or two. You’ll finally end today’s tour with the Dhow cruise, where you get to unwind as you witness a beautiful sunset.

Overnight in Muscat
Begin your day with breakfast and then visit Nakhal. Tucked away in the palm groves, and blessed with a backdrop of the Hajar Mountains, Nakhal comes as an important tourist destination in Oman as it comprises of a 350-year-old ancient fort. After a brief halt at the hot springs of Ain Towarah, next visit Nizwa, the ancient capital of Oman, which was once a centre for trade and education. It is a conservative town that accommodates some of the renowned mosques and an ancient fort called the Nizwa Round Tower Fort which you will be visiting, today. You then end your day by going around the lanes of the Nizwa souq and indulging in some shopping, before you call it a day.
Overnight in Nizwa
Your day will start on a beautiful note, by paying a visit to the Wahiba Sands where you could relish the beautiful waves of the desert sands and get a taste of the Bedouin values as well. The day ends on a blissful note by a visit to Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most popular wadis of Oman.
Overnight in Muscat
After breakfast, you will be transported to the airport for your flight to Muscat and onwards home, with wonderful memories of your desert experience in Oman!

Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any delay in flights or change in Schedule by the airline and any situations arising out of the same.
Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. Air Tours will not be liable for the same.
The Company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement.
Management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed advisable or necessary.
For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary, however all the other services will remain the same.
The Tour Cost is combination of all the arrangement and hence cannot be calculated on individual service basis. Tour cost is one component and not calculated on individually.
Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case any of the guest cancel the reservations sharing room together.
Air Tours will not be liable in any loss of baggage by the Airline. However, our assistance will be offered to trace / locate any of your lost baggage.
