Embark on your all encompassing, cultural immersion as you arrive into Penang today. Meet our local representative in the arrivals area of the airport and transfer to your hotel.

This evening, you could perhaps take a stroll down the soft, sandy beaches of Penang. Fondly regarded as the food capital of Malaysia, you could perhaps head out for some delicious street food tonight. Perhaps enjoy a trishaw ride on the return to your hotel.

After breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour of the city. The island city of Penang is explored for the art and history of Georgetown, which offers and introduction to the region. Perankan culture resonates through the murals and architecture of the city streets, the artifacts of the Penang Museum and art gallery. See the many temples and explore the Penang Botanical Garden and take the funicular to Penang Hill, from which panoramic city views can be enjoyed.

Enjoy breakfast this morning and check out of your hotel for an approximate 4 hour scenic drive to your next beautiful destination – the Cameron Highlands. Cross the Penang bridge to mainland Malaysia. You will encounter lush tropical foliage, sturdy rope bridges over muddy hotsprings and gushing waterfalls enroute, which make great photostops.

Post breakfast, time to explore the salad bowl of Malaysia. Cameron Highlands is not only Malaysia's largest and best-known hill resort but also a place to visit the various fruit and vegetable farms. Walk through lovely little villages, visit the butterfly, strawberry, honey bee farms and sprawling tea plantation. Enjoy a mid morning tea with clotted cream and fresh strawberry preserve at one of the tea plantations. Dine at the delightful Tudor-styled country inns. All pleasurable and relaxing activities to be experienced here. You can't beat the weather up here. A few days out of the sweltering lowland heat will surely recharge your batteries.
Do visit the rose garden where the heady perfume of a variety of roses simply bowls you over.

The day sets off with breakfast, after which you will visit a city that vibrates with the historic pulse of ancient trade routes, antique markets and a confluence of religions, offering a glimpse into the uncanny diversity of Malaysia. Visit Melaka for all this and more……. A fascinating blend of Portuguese, Dutch and British influences have made Malacca one of the most popular tourist destinations in Malaysia. We will visit Portuguese Square also referred to as 'Mini Lisbon' followed by A Famosa, a tiny gate is what is left of a once mighty Portuguese fortress are major attraction not to be missed. It is the oldest surviving European architectural remains in Asia. Its rich historical background earned it a "World Heritage Site" designation in July 2008. We will explore St. Peter’s church before enjoy a truly Malaccan local lunch at the Peranakan Restaurant. Keep your spirits high as you see other fascinating spots around Malacca. Lastly, enjoy shopping at the famous Jonker Walk bazaar which sells lots of interesting handicraft and souvenirs.

Enjoy breakfast and get set for the day which brings you some of the main attractions and experiences of Malaysia.
The first stop of this tour is Batu Caves, a limestone hill that is said to be around 400 million years old. To get to the top of the hill, guests have to take the 272 step concrete staircase. Once the entrance is reached, guests can see some of the deities and shrines inside. Apart from the 140-foot Hindu deity, this cave complex also houses a 113-year-old temple alongside other Hindu shrines. Once a year, Batu Caves also hosts the annual festival called Thaipusam, a colourful annual procession in honour of Lord Subramaniam.
Next, we will proceed to a Batik Factory. Witness how Malaysia's traditional clothing is made from raw materials. Batik is also a way of painting with designs that normally range from leaves and flowers to butterflies and other geometric shapes. You could even enrol yourself for a batik painting class if your creative juices are flowing and create your own masterpiece to bring back home.
Lastly, visit the Selangor Pewter, a producer of carefully-crafted utensils and jewellery. These are normally made from an alloy of copper, tin, and antimony. Do try the Hard Knox experience and see if you can master this craft.
