ITINERARY

DAY 1Marhaba! Welcome to Muscat, the capital city of Oman! Sightseeing of Muscat

On arrival your scheduled pick-up will be waiting. You will be transferred to the hotel in Muscat.

We’re sure you’ll be left awestruck by the low-rise buildings as you pass through the well-planned streets of this largest city in Oman. The beautiful city encompasses some of the world’s ancient heritages and attractions, that transport you to another world. You have free time to stroll  through the streets of Muscat and breathe in some fresh sea air.

You will visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum to catch a glimpse of a wide display of Omani craftsmanship. Following this, you would be taken to the Muttrah souq, a market that sells a lot of eye-grabbing artefacts and other goodies that will surely lure you into purchasing a thing or two.   End the day with a spectacular sunset, before you check into your hotel.

Note: Ladies to be fully covered and to carry a head scarf. Men to be in trousers.

DAY 2Muscat – Nakhal – Jebel Al Akdhar

After breakfast, set out to cover some of the important and most scenic locations across Oman. Your day starts with a visit to Nakhal. Tucked away in the palm groves, and blessed with a backdrop of the Hajar Mountains, Nakhal comes as an important tourist destination in Oman as it comprises a 350-year- old ancient fort. This will be followed by the visit to a picturesque village of Bilad Sayt, before you reach the final destination of the day - the rugged region of Jebel Akdhar or ‘The Green Mountain’. Jebel Akdhar constitutes the central part of the Al Hajar mountain range and comprises of the Saiq Plateau, an elevated upland. The region, though mostly desert, owing to its elevated terrain receives enough rainfall to support agriculture. Jebel Akdhar is also home to a range of distinctive yet fragile biodiversity owing to which it was declared a ‘nature reserve’.

DAY 3Jebel Al Akhdhar – Nizwa – Muscat

Experience some rich Omani culture today by exploring heritage sites like Bahla and Nizwa. You first visit the Jabrin Castle, a well-preserved castle, built in the year 1675 by Imam Bil-Arab Bin Sultan. Move over to Bahla, a renovated a UNESCO World Heritage site to visit an ancient fort that is thousands of years older than the Jabrin Castle. You then proceed to Nizwa, the ancient capital of Oman, which was once a center for trade and education. It is a conservative town that accommodates some of the renowned mosques and an ancient fort called the Nizwa Round Tower Fort which you’ll be visiting, today. You then end your day by going around the lanes of the Nizwa souq and indulging in some shopping, before you head back to Muscat.

DAY 4Farewell!!

After breakfast, check out and head to the airport for your flight back home with wonderful memories of your holiday in Oman.

• Any expenses of a personal/incidental nature such as tips, drinks, cigarettes, beverages or water during meals, meals, pay channel, laundry, etc.
• Early Check in and Late Check out. Standard Check in at hotels is 1400 hours and check out is 1100 hours.
• Meals other than what is mentioned in the itinerary.
• Airfare for your travel.
• Visa cost for your travel.
• Overseas Travel Insurance for your period of travel.

TERMS & CONCITIONS

Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any delay in flights or change in Schedule by the airline and any situations arising out of the same. 

Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. Air Tours will not be liable for the same.

The Company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement.

Management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passengers.

We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed advisable or necessary.

For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary, however all the other services will remain the same.

The Tour Cost is combination of all the arrangement and hence cannot be calculated on individual service basis. Tour cost is one component and not calculated on individually.

Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case any of the guest cancel the reservations sharing room together.

Air Tours will not be liable in any loss of baggage by the Airline. However, our assistance will be offered to trace / locate any of your lost baggage.
