ITINERARY
On arrival at Airport, meet our representative & transfer from Airport to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. As you enter the 25 acre coconut groved expanse, do not be surprised to witness baby elephants being bottle fed or moving around freely causing absolutely no harm to anyone. Take part in feeding them or bathing them and add to your unique experiences of Sri Lanka.
Thereafter, proceed to Kandy,
On arrival in Kandy, check into your hotel.
Kandy - a lovely town settled around the lake and the last royal capital of SriLankan kings, crafts an array of culture, history and heritage in the minds of visitors.
This afternoon, visit the famous Kandy Temple and experience an ancient Kandy legacy engraved around its crown jewel, the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. Follow this up with a lively performance of the cultural dance and music show.
Overnight in Kandy.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel transfer to Nuwara Eliya, popularly known as the Scotland of Srilanka. Pass by sleepy little villages and winding slopes displaying lush tea estates. Stop enroute for a few pictures and perhaps a visit to one of the tea estates for a quick tour and a cuppa to refresh you.
On arrival at Nuwara Eliya, check into your hotel and relax for the day. Explore the busy market, the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and do visit one of the local bakeries for a delicious sweet or savoury snack with a cup of steaming cappucino or hot chocolate.
Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in your hotel and then proceed on a sightseeing tour of Nuwara Eliya - The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is one of the coolest places in the Island, but it is really just like an English spring day, although the temperature does drop at night – ideal conditions for tea plantations.
Visit the Sitha Amman Temple in Ashok Vathika and enjoy watersports at Gregory Lake, visit Victoria Park or go strawberry picking at one of the nearby farms. The options are plenty.
Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.
Post breakfast, checkout of your hotel and transfer to Bentota. Also pass the small town of Kitulgala, before you arrive at your destination, Bentota.
Check into your hotel and relax at the beach.

After breakfast at a leisurely pace, enjoy a cruise on the Madhu River, which flows across Balapitiya, a rarely visited and unspoiled atractions, any nature lover can find in Sri Lanka. 64 small islands scattered along her wake most of which are uninhabited and covered with mangroves. The tinies of the islets is called “Satha Paha Doowa” which enshrines a temple with a statue of the Lords of Kathargama. Visit Cinnamon island and see how the native spice is cultivated. Madhu is certainly a placid and memorable place of interest to any nature lover who longs to witness mesmerizing landscape of nature. Madhu River is also a known den for crocodiles and other tiny creatures of the mangroves.
Next visit the Kosgoda turtle hatchery and see how various varieties of turtles are conserved and led back to their natural habitat.
Stop by at a local bakery to grab a bite and some delicious sweet and savoury local favourites, before you return to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day by the pool or at the beach. Enjoy the sun setting over the horizon and relish these moments of solitude and peace before you retire for the day.
Overnight in Bentota
Check out after breakfast and proceed to Colombo for an orientation tour of the city. A throbbing metropolis, see the race course, Colombo Port City, Petta Market, Red Mosque, and a number of other main sites on your panoramic tour of the city.
Do schedule some time for a bit of souvenir shopping and cool cotton clothing, before you check into your hotel.
Spend the evening, gambling at the Casino or head out to Galle Face Beach, best visited in the evening.
Overnight in Colombo
